Scheduled to open October 2004, the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate will be a dream destination for meeting and leisure guests alike. Located within the master-planned community of ChampionsGate, next to Walt Disney World, this resort is surrounded by world-class golf, acres of natural wetlands and the excitement of the dazzling sites and attractions of central Florida. With two Greg Norman designed courses, ChampionsGate has been honorably mentioned in Golf Magazine’s “10 Most Distinctive Places to Play”.
Challenge
Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate retained .Com Marketing to create a targeted campaign to drive sales leads to the ve-member convention sales team. The main challenge was the hotel is still under construction and is 11 months away from being opened. “The success of this e-mail campaign was due to a good list, a well executed form and subject line, strong creative, and good old fashioned timing”

Process
Since Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate’s main goal was a B2B target aimed at filling their meeting space with conventions and meetings, .Com Marketing recommended an aggressive e-mail strategy. .Com Marketing’s carefully identified the most targeted direct email list for meeting planners and associations and immediately launched a leads generation e-mail campaign . The list was sent to 61,000 corporations, associations, and meeting planners across all 50 states.
Results
The e-mail marketing campaign had a 40% open rate and a 1% click through rate. Within one week the client received 53 new leads.
